Synopsis:

Christmas may be a happy festival for men and women of good will but what about those on the fringe of gentle society. They are out of work. London’s streets are empty with almost the whole population at home basking in the warm bosom of family so there’s nary a pocket to be picked or an empty house to be burgled. In this sad state of forced idleness, a motley crowd of criminals gathers to party at Cock and Hen where Prince Rudy, the debauched heir to the throne, is murdered. It’ll be easier to find the murderer among this gang of thieves and murderers than it will be to find anything resembling the Christmas spirit.

Dearie, the black sheep of the baked bean, is brown bread (Translation: Rudolph, the least favored son of the Queen, is dead) and it’ll mean a Christmas of the likes you’ve never had before, matey.
